About Me

Stephanie Woods The barking blogger

Hey, I’m Stephanie

I’m the proud dog mom to eight rescue pups—yep, you heard that right, EIGHT! My pack comes in all shapes, sizes, and personalities, from my 8-pound bundle of sass to my gentle 80-pound giant who thinks he’s a lapdog. Many of them came to me as special needs rescues, and each has their own unique story. Together, they’ve turned my home into a never-ending adventure of love, laughter, and, of course, some chaotic barking (but in the best way, I promise). And, yes, they all sleep on my bed. Every. Single. One.

Adopt, Don’t Shop

I strongly believe in “Adopt, Don’t Shop.” While I may not be on the front lines at the shelter every day (since my favorite rescue is over an hour away), I work tirelessly behind the scenes to support their mission. I provide guidance, marketing support, and resources to help shelters and rescues find loving homes for animals in need. I share their urgent needs, promote adoptable pets, and use my platform to raise awareness about rescue efforts. Most people may never see me out front, but I’m always working to make a difference.
